WATERFRONT SUPPORT ENGINEER/SENIOR ENGINEER (H&SSR) - BRISTOL
Salary £27,000 - £33,500   dependent upon experience and qualifications

To act as the Waterfront Special Projects Design Engineer, to scope, plan and manage the execution of new projects and business in support of the Waterfront Special Projects Team Leader.

In particular, to support the project management of the Initial Astute Support Solution (IASS) Demonstration Phase, from its initial planning phase through to its successful execution.

To undertake, on an ad hoc basis, the project management of post design support tasks associated with supporting the maintenance of the design intent and availability of the UK Submarine Fleet and in particular:

• Submarine Ship Systems (SUBIPT DASS);
• Submarine Propulsion Systems (SUBIPT DAPR).

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Ideally educated to B Eng level or equivalent with suitable submarine support experience the post holder should have a strong understanding of submarine systems/layout and a familiarity with the waterfront support environment. Good oral and written communication skills, combined with the ability to liaise with internal and external customers at all levels.
